Description

The PowerBook 165c was identical to the PowerBook 165 in all respects but one: it had a color screen.  The 9-inch display was a 256 color passive matrix with 640 x 480 resolution.

History

Apple’s first color PowerBook was not well received.  The passive matrix display was dim and unclear and at $3,400, it was expensive.
